Who will benefit?
The support provided by this ESIF Growth Programme ICT funding will help to ensure a modern and thriving ICT infrastructure for Northamptonshire. The funding will specifically enable Small and Medium Sized Enterprises (SMEs) to better understand and use ICT for their businesses, access new markets, develop an ICT skills strategy and drive forward business performance.
Applications will be expected to demonstrate appropriate scale and impact. Projects should be for a maximum three years in duration, and have a total value of not less than £1million with the provision of at least £500,000 match-funding.
Applicants must be lead business groups and/or intermediaries.
Sajeeda Rose, Chief Operating Officer, NEP said: “This call to business groups is tailored to the needs of Northamptonshire SMEs, who in turn will benefit, rising to the challenge of adopting twenty-first century technology for greater innovation, competitiveness and sustainable growth. The funding is also a step towards the implementation of NEP’s productivity plan and to improving local business performance.”
