“Cllr. Mackintosh should resign from County Cabinet now” Cllr Chris Stanbra

Cllr Chris Stanbra, Deputy Leader of the Liberal Democrat Opposition at County Hall has called on Cllr David Mackintosh to resign immediately from the County Council Cabinet, following his appointment as Leader of Northampton Borough Council.

Cllr Stanbra said “Cllr Mackintosh should resign from the County Cabinet now. The Conservative administration should take the opportunity to reduce the size of the Cabinet. The Conservatives need to get a grip and save money by cutting the size of their cabinet rather than cutting frontline services.”
